At Barkai Yeshivah, we believe that all elements of our world should be recognized through the framework of Torah. In order to build the requisite Torah foundation for each student, we use the Barkai Method, which exposes students to the richness of Torah text, makes it relevant to every facet of life, and presents all 613 Misvot in their appropriate context. We place a strong focus on integrating Torah in our General Studies curriculum. Our goal is to create independent, lifelong learners who understand the Sepharadi approach to studying Torah. At the high school level, students learn in a Bet Midrash Style, creating an atmosphere where they are engaging deeply with each other and the texts, instead of a traditional, lecture based course of study.
